It is the end of an era - the Tuesday night Alder Commons Go Meetup officially has ended as of April 2, 2025. The hosting venue, after many years of serving the community is closing. The PGC is so grateful to Alder Commons and all the wonderful folk there. The Wednesday evening Sellwood Community Center meetups will replace the AC meetups for the time being.

In other news, Portland Go Club will be continuing its summer Weiqi at the Lan Su Chinese Garden series this year (2025) with our monthly tabling from 11am to 3pm on the Third Sunday of each month May through September. We will be teaching the basics of go/weiqi/baduk, sharing history and playing games with Garden visitors.
